Overview

Earth Building Solutions was engaged to investigate, diagnose and develop repair solutions for deteriorated loadbearing mudbrick buildings at the Condobolin Wiradjuri Study Centre.

The project included material testing, development of compatible repair methods, manufacture of replacement mudbricks, onsite training and staged supervision, enabling the local workforce to complete much of the restoration themselves.

All earth, sand and aggregate were sourced locally, with only specialist admixtures brought in.
